Phew, the final slip of paper in the jar is Barking & Dagenham. It was in there after all. So here goes...

After the complaints form yesterday I feel almost obliged to point out the minor typo in the third paragraph. (of instead of if). Enjoy the trip around the far east of London.

I feel strangely excited about B & D.

Surely the most tedious was Sutton? I mean, it's a nice place to live but I could see you were really struggling to find anything worthwhile there. :)

Yay!

Hurrah!!! May we see the jamjar now??? Please...

@ whiff, he spottted his own typo and corrected it before 8 am

+1 for seeing the jamjar!

I'm intrigued to find out what will happen when you've finished with Barking & Dagenham. Will you be refilling the jam jar and restarting your random borough tours, or will it be something different, like random home counties?

In the meantime though, it would be good to see a picture of the famous jam jar!

Or was it (jamjar)one of those little conserve pots you get in certain hotels with your breakfast?

It is the "special jamjar" people..not just the "jamjar".

I hope we see it but I suspect we may be disappointed. I am wondering whether the "special jamjar" will be kept or discarded?

I am also wondering how interesting DG will make B & D "sound". I think he will succeed because he has managed to make some other boroughs look quite attractive/interesting even though they had little to offer.

I am looking forward to reading it.

Eight hours, five tweets, two trains, one bus & a fourteen mile walk. Splendid day for it too.
Hurrah for Barking and Dagenham!

Read your tweets, bees and bunnies. ;-D

Looking forward to hearing about Barking and Dagenham, especially as it's somewhere I'm unlikely to go. I'm sure you'll find interesting things there, even though the name has an ominous ring, like Slough, Ponders End, Brimsdown, Tottenham Hale, Chingford....

Oh the suspense is killing me!!!

Looking like quite a 'bee' theme for this report.

I just realised - Barking and Dagenham is alphabetically first in all the 33 boroughs.

Not much of a fact, I know.

I'd like to see what the "special jam jar" looks like. Did you type or hand print the borough names? Please recycle the jar :D

special jam jar please.
