please empty your brain below

To encourage audience participation,
please just name one film each

I'll go for the easy one then:

7. Donnie Darko.

'key then:

8. Four Weddings and a Funeral.

6. Men In Black.

1. Matrix (where are the mathematicians?)

Perhaps someone can now get 2.

4. Star Wars

[rest of comment snipped by DG]

Sorry Tony, but I did ask people just to name one film each, so I've edited out the others you gave.
You were right though...

5. 28 days

(I admit to working it out then checking there was a film called that, but, you know about me and films

2. Matrix Reloaded, obviously.

I also got 1 and 3, naturally, and 4-8, but I have no idea about 9 and 10. And I know I should.

9 is "Two Times Table", an early silent starring Charlie Chaplin and Sarah (la Divine) Bernhardt. Only one or two copies remain, in private collections, so you might not see it on IMDB, and certainly not in your local Blockbuster.

9. But possibly you were thinking of "Pas de deux", an early experiment in home porno starring Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin. I'm right, aren't I?

3. Matrix revolution

5 is actually called '28 Days Later'

OK, so far you've correctly guessed...
1. The Matrix
2. Matrix Reloaded
3. Matrix Revolutions
4. Star Wars
5. 28 Days Later
6. Men In Black
7. Donnie Darko
8. Four Weddings And a Funeral

That just leaves 9 and 10,
which are very similar film titles.

9 isn't either of Peter's suggestions, although 'Two Times Table' would be another very good way to describe the film's title.

And 10 is a film released last year.

*coughs politely*

Erm - so where is the "later" bit in 5?

There was a 28 days in 2000.
28 days later was 2002.

Mind you, I haven't been reading Pat's cryptic clues hints as it was all too much for a Simple Witch, so maybe a line going from east to west means later?

It was 21st May yesterday.
18th June is 28 days later.

Suggestion:
9. Table For Two ?

Like them. Very very clever!

Go on then Tony...

OK, after e-mailing for permission to show off, here they are:

9. X2 (or, X-Men 2 but it was officially just called X2)

10. xXx (vin diesel secret agent, not Peter's earlier porn suggestion
