I watched Rishi Sunak’s self-promotional video. Such a slimy toad! I almost felt compelled to stick my fingers down my throat.

From curiosity I clicked the link to the candidate who's also my current MP. Amused to be reminded that I'd long since blocked the profile, to prevent my timeline being polluted by the promotional nonsense that was being published there on his behalf.

This is why I actually wanted Johnson to cling onto power for as long as possible. Firstly the longer he's in there, the more he destroys the credibility of the Tory party. And second, there's absolutely no guarantee the replacement won't be worse. I mean, Liz Truss would be funny for about a week and then you'd realise we're stuck with her for another 2 years.
