Despite your write-up of the venue's attractions, I'm not inspired to go there and see for myself, but from the photos, that looks like chipboard, rather than plywood.

I would suggest that it is Oriented Strand Board (OSB)-available from your local Wickes at £17.50 per 9 x 1200 x 2400 sheet (other stores and thicknesses are available).
