Can I be the first to mention that the Year Of The Bus celebrations have clearly been organised by a master of irony?

May I just say that the 'year of the bus' stickers definitely appear outside zone 1 - there's one on Rotherhithe station bus stop.

Judging from the amount of comments so far...it is indeed a rather quiet start. Perhaps it the post Easter "back to work blues".
Think the events in June & July are probably what worth looking forward to. Hopefully the weather will be nice. |

There is also the New Routemaster LT50 that has a silver livery for YOTB which mainly operates on route 9.

@ McTumshie - sorry for pedantry but it's LT150. There are also some more silver liveried LTs on their way to London but it's not clear where they will run - possibly on the 38.

On a bus that was out of service, speeding past me at 30, and on the drivers side window. |
