Thank you for those *puts in diary*
Summer has come and passed.
The innocent can never last
Wake me up,
When September ends.

Hi
This year for the first time the Great River Race is running from east to west - upstream because of the state of the tide. Thought that might affect where and when you want to spectate.
Wish us all luck!

Thanks for this, DG. I think the Tour of Britain London stage is the Saturday though (19th) rather than the Sunday?

One more event for the last weekend in September: XEUCF 2009 - European Ultimate Championship Finals, in other words, the best Ultimate frisbee teams in Europe competing in 4 divisions (open, women, mixed and masters [aged over 32]) over 4 days (Th-Su) on fields near Heathrow. Spectators are welcome (and for free!), and any player or participant will be happy to tell you what's going on. Details at http://www.xeucf2009.org/

Don't forget the "Skyride", 20 Sep.

DG!
As a Swede that loves London I just want to say that your blog is overall the BEST I've ever read. Getting som much interesting info, historical facts and laughes makes me so happy. And "getting on your tours" around London and East End nearly makes me feel beeing there. Excellent! THANKS!!!!!!

And, of course, it's Pestival this weekend (5/6 Sept) at the Southbank Centre:

Thank you, this is SO useful! Have you done these before?? I have been reading you for a year and can remember only one.

Thanks DG, I agree this is great info & I've stuck some of these in my diary - whether I'll actually get round to going is another matter.
Don't know why you say 'if you're interested in London Fashion Week you must be here by accident' - you can be interested in fashion and in London, transport, walks, history, Olympics, regeneration etc etc and all the other fab things you blog about.

There's going to be a flash mob at Canary Wharf on Saturday 12th September to highlight the 'I'm a photographer, not a terrorist' campaign http://photographernotaterrorist...09/09/flashmob/
