It's OK DG, Jon has come up with a link to help you fill 10 of those lonely minutes this evening in a way you'll like

Valentine Update

(a) No post, no cards.

(b) When one mystery Valentine turned up in the office this afternoon, I was mistakenly accused of sending it. Such is my reputation.

(c) Endangered on tube journey home tonight by numerous bouquets dripping water.

(d) Spent 10 minutes on Jon's page

Shame you don't have such a wide variety of anonymous commentators any more isn't it? They might have sent you a VD card.

After all, they have celebrated card occasions before, haven't they?

Perhaps you should supply a PO Box address just before the next VD, just in case there are any people out there who'd have liked to send you one, but thought that Diamond Geezer, London E3 was just too sketchy an address for the postman to cope with.

And, hey, where's your comment on the real counting work that was required? (at the bottom of the article on inter-blog connectivity that Jon linked to in the post below the one you explained).

Just looking at the maths made me feel queasy, so it should be right upyourstreet.

I remain to be convinced that an online campaign to send me Valentine's Day cards would be a good thing. I can cope with a retail therapy project, but I'm not sure I'd really want to promote a VD project next year.

I'm not sure I'd really want to promote a VD project next year.

No, I suppose not. I know there are others who will unsafely promote such a project.
