Whatever we force you to get I feel sure that you'll love it....maybe.

Erlend Oye, you say? GOOD choice!

Absolutely excellent choice, Mike.
Always good when an £11 gamble hits the jackpot.

I have this is to say:
a) Have you not heard of file sharing?
b) Thats alot of reading
c) Whats wrong with Blockbuster?
d) You can pick up some dead funky gadgety things for a ton - so thats a big yessss from me
e) Home furnishings arent a very laddish thing to buy, laddy
f) Clothing is essential and ultimately not worthy of being 'pressie material'.
g) Southend is very nice at this time of year...
h)The mysteriousness excites me!

SO I'm voting twice. d and h.
End of message.

a) file sharing works for singles, but it's just not the same for albums.
c) that would make a good title for a post one day
f) odd how so many people's wardrobes include some highly non-essential clothes
g) it's not that great even in the summer.

Course, two votes is clearly cheating, but I can probably let you have half a point each.

Can you provide examples of these non-essential clothes? Do pashminas count?
Look I only know about them because mum was looking at them at christmas...honest.

Pashminas would be high on the list, along with hats of any kind, bermuda shorts, Beckham-style sarongs, anything that's bought for the label rather than the function, and virtually anything ever paraded on a Paris catwalk.

Hear here and amen to that comment on clothes.

What's a pashmina anyway?

A sort of floaty shawl type thing as worn by Archies mother in Monarch of the Glen.

Look I was with my mother when she was looking at these....OK?

What's Monarch of the Glen? Who's Archies?

Oh dear
I may be digging a hole here
Monarch of the Glen is a popular (allegedly) BBC television series...Archie was one of the main characters and I just missed an apostrophe. I'm sorry and now I'm going to forget I ever brought it up.

Ah, but I'm not

Oh dear. That sounds slightly omninous.
