I always do a 28 day count, otherwise in leap years all the totals might be 3½% higher.

I often wonder if they mystery count is the number of people who correctly guess the mystery count...

At the end of February last year he said that had he been counting in January the mystery count wouldn't have been 0. So I had a check back and a couple of things I thought it could be are as follows.

1. Random Borough. If this is the mystery count it could be at 0 for ever more unless he does the last one this month.

2. Take a rail replacement bus.

Though I only checked last January and February, he may have done both these things in the years before without affecting the mystery count.

I predict Number 5 will go down this year which will also result in number 6 going down, and possibly numbers 8 and 9 too!

I still put my money on the Mystery Count being sick days off work. He's a very healthy lad is DG! Unless he just considers having the sniffles un-blogworthy!
