I spent what seems now like my entire childhood in the 60s either rampaging through Joydens Wood with my gang or tying knots in that scout hut. A nostalgic read for me.

Thanks, enjoyable! Btw, Colin Moynihan was never a Secretary of State. At the time of this opening, Google reminds me that he was a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, the most junior sort of Minister.

Further to my comment about Colin Moynihan, I found this cool website (which you probably know about?) Read-the-plaque that shows the plaque and deciphers the inscription.
