All very interesting so far and quite appropriate given this weekend I was on one of my occasional sojourns to London and walked from Greenwich to London Bridge. You've answered some of my questions about what things were that I could see across the river.

I was once passing Millwall Outer Dock and the watersports centre must've been have a special day: the sunny conditions fitted just right with watching pairs of dragon boats racing each other to the theme of Hawaii Five-0! |

BTW, if you stand at the top of the steps at the Marsh Wall end of Cuba St, there's a great view - across two bends of the river - to the Shard
