I am wondering why the sign says 'Rbt' where there plenty of room for 'Roundabout'.
Blimey! Have the "205 Alighting point only" e tile, and incorrect timetables referencing the distant Bow Church DLR been corrected after all these months at stop M?
"..lax shoddiness.." - "There's no need for Latin, Wilson!"
Interesting that there's plenty of room for them to have written 'Roundabout', yet were lazy and just wrote 'Rbt.'.

Well, I found it interesting.
Expect the work to be scaled down or abandoned if the Tory lose the mayoral election.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed before the Mayoral election.
"scheduled to be completed before the Mayoral election"

But projects can get behind schedule

"Never underestimate how dangerous the construction phase of a segregated cycle lane can be for the cyclists who will later benefit from it."
Blackfriars Bridge is a very good (bad?) illustration of this at the moment.
The Kingston project has also started recently - not much to report yet, but the very first thing they did was to paint out the white lines marking the cycle lane!

(no, I don't cycle all the way from one to t'other!)
My company just moved near Blackfriars, and the same thing is happening here: because of the construction of the north-south cycle superhighway, all bus stops are closed between Southwark and the north side of Blackfriars Bridge, and there is absolutely no information on which bus stops are closed, open, moved, where certain buses can be taken etc.
There have also been a significant number of accidents and near misses on the crossing between Southwark station and TfL building, especially caused by cyclists unexpectedly coming from both directions on the same side of the road. Progress ??
Well, the sign did say "Expect delays".
Since my post, work has finally begun on Bus Stop Y (Bow Road station). It's looking very dug up. There are no signs offering any advice to passengers.
