A very interesting post. I am probably the only person in the world not to have realised til now that the first letters of the months July to November spell out somebody's name.
comforting to know something this year has been "fairly ordinary"
I once read a story (probably in school) where the children, three girls and a boy, were named April, May, June, and Jason. Took quite a while to figure that one out. And not in the least bit contrived.
Are you forecasting what the weather will be for the remaining days of December? The totals adding up to 31 but today's the 28th!

Just our luck to cop it so hot when visiting last year.
Cau1khead - my wife and I can confirm that you are not.
Remembering that utterly wasted sunny spring with regret!
As it had been a very wet winter I'd been putting off exploring local rivers until the terrain dried out.
When it finally did, we had to stay home!
I really enjoyed the dry and sunny spring weather, it made the "one hour of allowed exercise" a real pleasure when compared to this autumn where the endless October rain has made so many open spaces muddy quagmires
Thankyou Martin :-)
