My kids won't watch Blue Peter but I do make a point of trying to watch them light the advent crown. When I was a kid it always meant that Christmas was around the corner. And then on the last one before the big day when they sing round the tree and always stopped before the last verse to say Happy Christmas...brings a tear to my eye even now...god how sad am I?
