I have tried control + and - but nothing happens. |
I completely agree with you: content is what matters, and thank heavens yours is always of outstanding quality. So why do you feel so strongly about being in control of its presentation? |
Why? For the same reason that authors don't publish 25 different versions of a book, just in case readers happen to prefer large blue text on a white background, or whatever. I don't want readers thinking that my site looks a complete mess, when in fact it's their default settings that are "at fault". But I've already given up hope of ever controlling you RSS users |
You dont have to be DDA compliant, or do you? |
er... what's a book? |
Good - I don't like things I know and love to change |
A retrograde step, in my opinion. I know a guy who styled himself a Web professional and produced web sites where every page was a large .gif. All text, all pictures and all layout was rendered as a single large image. It gave him excellent control over the look and feel of his site. He was however... misguided, I believe. |
Content is King *ducks for cover - knobber!* |
Good for you. I have an empathy for DDA from a personal experience but there are ways those less able can see your site. But I read you for your content and not for some flashy template. |
I'm a control freak and I like everyone to see my blog "properly". In the spirit of bloodly-mindedness and to re-inforce that fact that it is I, the user, who control such things, I delighted in going to the accessability option in IE and clicking the "ignore font sizes" option. Sucks boo. |
*congratulates self on an excellent spell* |
wow, england beat france - just. but the footie this afternoon against estonia was fantastic (it was estonia, wasn't it?). what a header - and into the wrong goal! |
