That last exhibition sounds particularly interesting to me - there was so much innovative (and sometimes, attractive and sometimes well-functioning) social housing built in Camden, right up to the end of the 70s.

There's a house on the Alexandra Estate (of which I used to be a near neighbour) that usually takes part in Open House weekend. I recommend a visit. "A Georgian terrace in modern clothing", as the designer put it.

The coffee at Starbucks is pretty lousy, but to describe it as vehemently criminal seems a bit strong.

A tip for anyone who's planning to see High Society - afterwards go to the Gagosian Gallery off Grays Inn Road to experience Dhatu 2010, a light show by James Durrell... what I imagine an acid trip must be like... [until the 10th of December 2010).
