One of my favourite bits of the Thames path for cycling - great in autumn for blackberries and sloes, wild fennel, hips and haws, fantastic mudflats when the tide is out, largely deserted and strangely otherworldly. As Dominic H points out, gets even weirder the further east you go...! |
