See you next Monday :)

Awesome. See you every day this week :)

Similarly there's a far quicker route than the "official" one between the DLR and Central line at Bank. Which reminds me, how long does it take to fix an escalator?

How long does it take to fix an escalator ? Well it depends. If a standard part in stock then as soon as time outside traffic hours can be found to fix it. If a customised part is needed it can take considerably longer. If the thing has just got to the point where just fixing it is a waste of good money then many months. If the thing totally needs replacing then far better to put a modern AC one that will be much more reliable than replace it with a like-for-like DC one which needs its own feed from the substation. So short term pain of over a year or so whilst escalator and electricity supply are renewed for considerable long term gain.

Underground escalators are still considerably more reliable than the ones in Allders in Croydon despite being more intensively used for more hours of the day.

Tube week AND my birthday at the same time? Hooray!
