You can always go looking for lost rivers, can't you?

Isn't the Maps exhibition at the British Library rather than the Museum?

You're lucky it's only raining. We've had almost 40 inches of new snow over the last couple of days!!! Happy May Day!

Speaking of gardens, and events on on Monday, here's another one for the list:-
The Tarn, Court Road, Eltham, SE9 5AQ
Please join FRIENDS OF THE TARN for the Grand Opening of the new Butterfly Garden in The Tarn which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 2010 at 2.00 pm - with Clive Efford MP cutting the ribbon at 2.30pm.
The project to turn part of the Tarn into a garden to attract butterflies and other wildlife has taken our volunteers a year to complete and has been very kindly funded by a grant from The National Lottery Awards For All.
Please join us for Tea and Cakes at the Pavilion as well as tours around the new garden. We are very easy to find - opposite Mottingham BR Station and close to bus routes 161, 126, 124 which stop in Court Road.
Everyone welcome!
