There is a Donkey Woods in Hounslow

Do you have my missing donkey?
I've not been yet, but the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium seems a pretty soulless place to watch football.

Those playing fields are a great bit of planning. A massive open area, and near the centre of Enfield too.
I was at that Conifa "world cup" final. Possibly the most boring match I've ever attended, although both the local Turkish Cypriot population (who must have outnumbered the Hungarians maybe 40-1) and those supporters of the Subcarpathians with flares in the colours of the Hungarian flag seemed to enjoy themselves. The stadium (and the mud banks around it) seemed nearly full. An interesting rather than appealing stadium building imo...as for the history of the various Enfield football teams....is several rabbit holes
During my fleeting days in West Dulwich I occasionally ventured far enough east to see Dawson Heights on the horizon; though not knowing what it was, or what it was called. I put it on the back burner, for future clarification - which happened today, thankyou! The link is most interesting, and of course puts Donkey Alley in pride of place.
I can't imaging anyone visiting Donkey Lane in West Drayton on purpose!
I can only imagine it was either part of your bid to visit all the grids or dedicated forward planning for this post!!
I recommend a visit to Dawson's Heights if you get a chance. I went as part of Open House a few years ago. As well as seeing the overall layout and the great views from the balconies, I even got to see inside one of the flats. It was a fascinating visit.
