Happy Easter, dg!
Happy Easter, DG. Don't make yourself sick with all that chocolate! 🍫🍫🍫🍫
Happy Easter, DG, and thanks for all of your blogging.
What is the significance of the ‘Unit DG sign’ in the last picture?
Been watching the Blue Tits, Robins, Sparrows (remember when they used to be loads of them) and 'Bling' Sparrows - look like Sparrows but have extra markings, for some reason the cats have disappeared - perhaps they are dumbfounded at having all these people stuck in their houses all day, so are staying home to keep them company.
Happy Easter DG and everyone else. I'm off in a minute to chime some church bells (on my own) as a small reminder of hope in these strange times.
Happy Easter!

Glad you have your spring chocolate fix. I hope those daffs on the table didn't come from the Olympic Park ;)
The Olympic Park daffodils are long faded.
These are from Tesco :)
The budding, leafing and blackbirds are indeed a joy, though I was woken up at 3:59 this morning by a blackbird singing for all it's worth in pitch darkness 2m away from my open bedroom window this morning. I hope it soon realises that Heathrow barely exists for now, and can adjust its call times accordingly.
Happy Easter. I’ve been enjoying the clear blue skies with hardly any contrails. Again.
Happy Easter DG. Just about to take part in our Zoom church service, I am reading the resurrection from Matthew's gospel.

Puzzled that it is 6 days since you spoke to anyone, I say hello to quite a few of those I pass on my walks in the woods, sometimes they respond..
Woods around here are full of native Bluebells, the Swallows have made an appearance and saw a Grass Snake in the pond yesterday after the tadpoles. So spring is really underway, just need to hear a cuckoo.
I live on a fairly busy street so I'm loving the cleaner air, the peace & quiet (both traffic & people) and the lack of emergency sirens.

A pair of robins have nested in my garden so I'm enjoying listening to their song and watching them take food to the hatchlings.

I'm hoping many things DON'T return to how they were before.
Happy Easter DG. Appreciating your ingenuity in producing interesting blogs in these straitened times. Thanks for keeping up the good work.
Happy Easter DG 🐣🐰
I bought some Crème Eggs [as per pic] earlier this year, for the first time in ages, and was impressed at how they've improved. I still remember when they first came out, when they'd leak out a syrupy gloop which made them almost impossible to unwrap cleanly, which typically left you with sticky fingers... and a rogue bit of silver foil to get between your fillings.
Daffodils do make for a nice Easter indoor Easter, after all. Spring is in full bloom anyhow.
Two unusual things happened in the street below my flat today:

At breakfast time, the sound of a household singing an easter hymn with great spirit, rising into the air over the back gardens.

At mid afternoon, a front step performance by a duo with guitar and accordion, bringing out a dozen other households to their front gardens for a 10-minute flash concert, ending with a resounding round of applause before everyone disappeared behind their doors again.
