CONGRATULATIONS!
Happy birthday

A wonderfu tribute to a wonderful city
Congratulations - long may you continue
Many happy returns... in the words of Marvin: The first ten million years were the worst, and the second ten million years, they were the worst too.
London's lucky to have you, DG. Congrats.
Many congratulations. This blog is the first thing that encroaches my world from the outside each day. I don't often comment, a handful of times a year but I must have been reading you for a good chunk of those 10 years. I can only begin to imagine how much work you put into this so as well as congratulations, thank you! I know a lot more about the city I live in than I ever would have done without you.
How quickly those ten years have gone by. Like you I love London and but I was born here so London always been part of my life.
There are other cities I like, New York, Barcelona and Athens, but I never want to be far away from London for very long.In fact in recent years I never leave London apart from day trips to the coast.
Good to have you adopted London as your city dg, and your blogs are most interesting, you have probably been to more places in London in ten years than some people who live here have been in their whole lives.
Happy anniversary.
Now what's for you this weekend, Olympic Park Saturday, Thames festival Sunday? No doubt your blog will soon let us know.
Conrats DG! Keep up the excellent work.
A gem of a tribute to London.
Congratulations DG
Happy 10th Birthday.
Many congratulations for a huge achievement!

I've only been reading for the last 3 years since I discovered your blog from a referrer link you sent to one of my photos, but I've visited daily since.

I'm moving out of London soon, but will keep reading!
Happy Birthday/Anniversary, thanks for the cake! Love your blog - it make me wish I had known London better when I was there, but you do that brilliantly.
Happy 10th anniversary! I am an infequent visitor to London, but a daily visitor to your blog, long may you continue :-)
Aw! You old romantic! Happy anniversary. Thanks for the cake (I spent a couple of minutes looking for the odd one out, but I couldn't find it).
I'm leaving London soon, moving into the Shires, that made me cry.
And from someone who's been with her for 27 years now, I can tell you it only gets better.

Happy and glorious tenth, DG!
congrats!
Congrats, dg! Can't believe you've come so far - you have set the standard of blogging very, very high over the years and given the rest of us something to aspire to. Keep up the great work (or maybe take a day off ;)). X
Congratulations!

Many thanks for all the London gems you've helped me enjoy, particularly all the London 2012 advice.
Congratulations DG! It's been a great journey. Your posts make the most excellent reading, and to be doing so daily, well, it's amazing!
I'm looking forward to the journey continuing (and perhaps one day, finding out what the mystery count is)
Cheers
Mike
Congratulations and happy anniversary!!!
Like John, I'm London born, so perhaps there have been certain things about the city I've taken for granted. Over the last few years I've been fortunate enough to have spent a fair amount of time in Switzerland, near the border with Italy. It's a great lifestyle, there.
However, when I do come back, it's typically on a night flight into Stansted. I think I realised how much I actually liked coming back when I'd look out the plane window and see the great golden glow - far larger than any of the other cities the planes passes - which meant home wasn't far away.
"That's London, that is. That's MY city :)"
Glad you obviously feel the same way about it, too!
Congratulations on 10 fantastic years!
I moved back to London in time for the Jubilee celebrations after nearly 2 decades abroad, and I've been welcomed back by the City of my birth like I'd never left. There is nowhere else I'd rather be anymore either. Can't wait to see what the next 10 years brings.
Congratulations DG . Thanks for all the tips and advice about our city.
Don't ever leave her DG. I did and my heart aches for the loss every day. You are far better for her than I ever was as you continually bring out the best in her every day.
Happy blogiversary! Ten years is a long time... Well done and keep it up!
Happy Birthday
Can it really be nearly ten years since I started reading DG! Crikey!

Congratulations on ten wonderful years of some of the most eclectic writing in the UK.
Happy 10th Anniversary! I enjoy your blogs about life with Lady London.
Many congratulations DG: this is a huge achievement.
happy birthday mate, your meanderings, allways brighten dull days, hears to another ten.
You almost made me feel like a gooseberry but then I realised the old girl's a bit of a goer...Your dedication to her nontheless is truly admirable. Ta very much.
Agree with your sentiments entirely. So much so that after all these years of travelling the world for business as well as for pleasure; I've come to the realisation that *everywhere* in the world - is just another suburb of London; just an Oystercard journey away: touch in, close your eyes and doze off for a while, get there, and return back to the centre of the world. Because there's only one place in the world everyone wants to be.

Your daily essays about our great city have kept me and my friends and family informed and entertained for a decade. Thank you!
Congratulations and bravo!
I've learned much about London from you in the last three months since I started following - in fact more than in the last 25 years that I have been living here!
At a crossroads in my life, I'm grateful for the discovery of what's on my doorstep.
Thank you!

Happy Birthday! Disappointed not to get cake- will the Orbit be open again in time for the next anniversary celebration?
Congratulations DG, a fantastic achievement and an interesting post every day of those 10 years.

I'm back in London visiting this weekend after almost 10 years away (barring occasional trips and work meetings) and this blog has kept me in touch. I've impressed my kids with facts I learned from this blog, they think I know everything. I don't, but I know where to go and find out - right here.

Thanks, and here's to another 10

Joe
Many thanks from those in Hertfordshire who venture down to London on occasion... especially when you discover something new to love about it!
I've been a long time reader(and occasional commenter). Born and raised in London, my family emigrated to the US in 1980 when I was fifteen.
London is like that first true love you never forget. And this year she made me very proud.
Thank you and congratulations DG!
Nearly missed this amongst the sport. Congratulations and may many more years of kitten blogging be before you. Whoops, wrong blog!
DG,
You make my mornings worthwhile !

Many Happy Returns
Congratulations on ten years, DG! My own relationship with London is now nine years old (albeit much of it long distance) and your writing has been a huge part of that for the past eight years. Thank you for keeping London alive, no matter which city or continent I'm reading from. Best wishes for the next decade(s)!
Congratulations DG, on a great decade. This life long Londoner appreciates the fresh insights you keep throwing up, making me look at this grand lady in a new way with a greater repect in my eyes. I would have commented yesterday btw, having rarely missed an entry over 9 of those 10 years, but I was busy all day at E20 ; )... What a way to celebrate hey, all that cheering to the rafters in the Stadium. Here's to many more years...
Not too late to add my congratulations I hope! Thanks for ten years of fine writing and insight and here's to another ten at least. More power to your keyboard DG...
Happy anniversary, DG! I really enjoy reading your blog. And I'm in love with London too.
A little late but many thanks for all your efforts. Much appreciated from this Londoner abroad.
Chris, Hanoi
