If you want to see the inside of the Royal Opera House, I recommend one of their tours. The backstage tour focuses on the way they put on the shows (costumes, scenery etc) while the architectural tour does what it says on the tin (and is very good). Of the restaurants, I recommend Ballerina, on the opposite corner of Floral Street from the ROH - a reliable and independent Italian.
A street I've walked through many times but never had a reason to pause.
I'm no ballet aficionado, but since when did male dancers wear a tutu?
The telephone exchange is no longer owned by BT, and only part is telecoms equipment with the remainder sublet for other uses.
I happened to be playing last night on the "other" London monopoly board (the newly updated transport version) so I am now starting to see the different theming/grouping of the colours. Transport set theming seems to be simplistic: stations on the right coloured line although those with Elizabeth line interchange have a purple roundel.

Disappointed that transport set has money denominated with a capital M with a strikeout bar, rather than £.
Obvious now you mention it, but I never knew Bow street was named for its curve!
Did not know that about the name of the road! I will be repeating that if im there with friends
