Looking at the photo the double yellow lines are very obvious so I'd hope the charge would come out of the wages of whoever parked it there, but I suspect your right that it will be tax payers paying. |

It's a little puzzling when closure dates are not time specific. I wasn't sure whether the canal towpath would still be open today 3rd July but thankfully it was so I had a last walk from Eastway to White Post Lane late morning.
There were various workmen around but nothing to suggest imminent temporary oblivion so I guess that would all have kicked in tonight. |
