Aldersgate was the old name for Barbican station, but they are all former gates for entry into the City of London.

I rumbled one of these lower-case destinations at the weekend on the front of a Whitechapel train. Perhaps my mind is playing tricks on me, but I'm sure it isn't the first time I've seen one on the circle/h&c. Grumble, doesn't look right, etc.

But then I said that about the buses, and life went on.

Re the on train linemaps, the dutty brown line is unforgivable, very weird considering TfLs grip & grasp of their IP rights, they're usually so much more conscientious in terms of presentation [style over substance?!] of their maps. However, the shitty brown/black streak within the middle of their linemaps on the circle line for H&C/Circle?Wimbleware lines is bizarre.

However having seen these very maps, I remarked to my foreign friend "I can't believe they've LITERALLY JUST PRINTED these maps and yet there are ALREADY temp stickers on them @Whitechapel, and @West Ham, such a waste..."!!!! Then I thought, hang on, I NEED to see whats underneath! after careful peeling, I saw that they'd ANTICIPATED the Overground @Whitechapel [Arrival 2011] and the arrival of DLR @West Ham [DLR Stratford High Street-Dover/Star Road Extension], VERY GOOD MOVE!

Good to see more of the maps out and about, I'd like a pre-decircled map for prosperity, 125yrs of useful lineage [sic!] down the tube!!!! [dbl sic!] All good really, if it helps, then it helps, I doubt TfL would take this decision lightly, more trains,= more trains on tracks=more drivers paid more, so it clearly is an operational issue. Hope it works, I'm sure for those fromHammersmith its gonna be a dream, having lived in Shepherds Bush, and had to wait "8 TfL Minutes" [which =?? real-life-minutes?!] GRRRRr! ALL CHANGE PLEASE!
