I'm confused. Yesterday, the boot gets (rightly) put in to someone trying to get DG to rewrite a blog entry for Google gain and today... well, two posts that, frankly, could have flowed from an ad copywriters pen and absolutely dripping in links. |
Best time at the Chop House is lunchtime during the summer when the frontage opens up and you have a great view of the waterfront and the, er, old Tower Hotel opposite. Can be eyewateringly expensive if you get carried away with the wine list and a la carte. |
Perhaps Alan does not realise the the DG meal is always served with a sprinkling of the infamous irony... |
Ah Alan, but isn't that the joy of Diamond Geezer. You never know what you're going to get!! Makes it all the more interesting
|
But where in E3 can we get an Evening Standard from? |
Now, I forget whose idea it was to raise the flag of irony when one of these posts come up, but for good Google measure I have just gone back to click on "digital whores". |
Are you reading this, Kevin? |
Well I've emailed my mum & dad the link even if it was a tongue in cheek post! Not often you get to nosy around a posh restaurant cheaply! Thanks! |
Great pick DG. It just so happens I am in London on the 11th and 12th so just in time and may well take advantage of said offer.
Bit of a rail tour. Hadfield to Norwich to London and back the next day via the Midland Main Line all for around £40, £19 Travel Lodge and it would appear around £20/£25 for a slap up meal, sorted. |
Great posts, DG :-)
I'm sure there must be a difference between refusing to change the links in a post because of being asked to do so by some marketing bod, and writing posts that come from sheer enthusiasm about the subject matter. I don't see any reason to be confused here. Apart from that, many posts here have plenty of links in them. All good stuff. I love this blog. And I've also noticed that Tridentscan now saves name and email address - well done again, Kurt. |
