Lovely.

I remember chuckling at the duvet machine on a visit to the town a few years ago.

I was left wondering if south Norfolk is home to an even bigger machine?
Came here for the Pie Stop (or not). Wasn't disappointed.
And now a walk around the town. You are spoiling us. What chance a ride on the Lights Express for tomorrow?
So there is a larger duvet machine elsewhere in Norfolk?, largest in relation to what?, are they implying that they can take a duvet of any size?

So many questions...

Margaret's Hairstylists - judging by the exposed brickwork, she looks to have a damp problem - did that cause the retirement? (in addition to the obvious restrictions).

Major Dunn Revival - that looks like a traditional shop front, curved glass and still has a tiled entrance.
We used Sheringham for a school geography project when I was young - I did something I can barely remember about shops and how far they were from the sea front or something. We planned it all out, had a disappointing day trip to the seaside and then wrote it all up. I did not get a good grade.
Brilliant. Reminds me of the Tripe and Sandwich Shop in Stalybridge (in 2006, so check before travelling).
I don't want to be constantly blowing smoke in the direction of your rear end, but this type of post really brightens my day. As ever - many thanks.
Great stuff, Sheringham is a lovely place, not been for far too long!

And the railway arrangement really is the best of both worlds. Two stations (NR and heritage) next to each other on either side of the road, with the track across the road still in place for the occasional times services need to cross over.
A very pleasant place in summer, less so on a bitterly cold winter Saturday while searching - almost fruitlessly - for somewhere to buy a cup of tea at 4pm.
Hehe, quite an eclectic mix today.
The launderette with the biggest duvet machine in north Norfolk is so utterly Partridge-ian that it makes me suspect it's just an elaborate local in-joke, to be met with a hearty "Ah-ha!"
Frank F - A delightful turn of phrase, heartily seconded.
I was only half looking at the launderette sign first time round, and thought it was about North Norfolk's largest _Durex_ machine.
I think DG may now have jinxed the Pie Stop sign.

@Mikely C. The continuation of the rail line from NR to NNR is a relatively recent restitution (no more than 20 years), put in place by the NNR. There is video of visiting trains to the NNR using the link on YouTube. Alas Network Rail/TOC are now much less accommodating to movements of heritage stock on the lines so the link is much less useful now, delivery of stock by road is more the norm.
