Clearly the person who messed up the Battersea Power Station Station extension extension signs was given the job for these signs too. Incredible that these lazy mistakes keep happening happening.
It’s still a long slow walk from the new S bound platforms to exiting at Bank. Hopefully when finished you won’t have to walk along the Central Line platforms.

Still it looked impressive last night when I unexpectedly found it had opened yesterday.
Will visit this later this week. The City and South London railway really has left a legacy of cramped stations and platforms needing expensive rebuilds!

I wonder how long the dangerous island platforms at Clapham Common and North will last before something is done. I remember the Angel island platform, that was scary
I may be alone in this, but I think the blue corridor looks awful. It’s a nice idea to highlight the doorways, but I think it should stop after the arch personally.
Kirk - I'm sure it'll look much nicer once the matching blue hoarding is gone
I for one think that it looks impressive, and will really help with the rush hour crushes. It really looks like someone thought of passenger safety, I like Mikey remember the Angel island platform with horror.
Bank happened because of the massive throughput. As long as the Clapham stations remain as 'lightly' (relative to Bank that is) used as they are, nothing will be done about their platforms until someone is actually killed.
Today the announcements are audible, the Next Train Indicator is correctly showing the next four trains and Borough now has its tick* courtesy of a small rectangle of black sticky tape.

* apart from the big curved maps on the far wall where Borough remains tickless.
Quite an impressive total of platform enhancements.
Angel was super dangerous, as it was the nearest tube station to RNIB headquarters.
Someone has been around with little bits of black sticky tape to add in the missing ticks.
