In 1977 that would be LT, surely?
...undulating clusters indeed. Only thing with being the first (or second) to comment on a post is that you may just fall for something that may not quite be what you first think it is!
Brilliant!
Charing Cross station is well worth a visit today then:

"This press release is not yet available on the new TfL website"

:)
I'll have the Poisson d'Avril, grilled with herb butter and saute potatoes please.
07:55 Tottenham Court Road: L'Ecole de Barrage cause total confusion. After realizing they have alighted at the wrong station they turn full circle to board the train again trapping departing passengers in while blocking those behind them from getting on, leaving the platform awash with accidentally spilt Jus de Pomme together with a couple of "I ♥ London" caps floating on top.
Sadly the French have no word for 'en masse'.....
Bonnet de douche! Well I, for one, will miss their Gallic antics ;o)
Bravo, mon brave!
Brings a tear to my eye. I shall miss having to force my way through the performance outside Oxford Circus at 5pm every day
You nearly got me I must admit!
Oh I wish...! Good riddance I say! :D
Brilliant! Thanks.
Chapeau!
That Ianvisits article is interesting. There is a similar church in Oxford, which undergraduates often used to point out to tourists.
Maybe next year the "post" could be posted at 01:04. Then those in the know will know!
But those in the know did know. DG does an April Fools every year, often containing something French.
...why French I wonder?
Absolutely true. 2:00pm 01/04 Liverpool St station. Performance by L'Ecole de Barrage at bottom of escalator from Bishopsgate. Was carnage.
18:00
The team break into pairs, spacing out along the length of the platform. When the tube arrives they charge into the just-opened doors, fixing annoyed passengers attempting to disembark with a 'c'est la vie' stare.

This particular manoeuvre, known as le grand bang, literally 'the bursting sausage', warms up the evening nicely.
