Hey that's a great photo of my cycle path to work! What a lovely day for it. Just don't try that route between 8 and 9 on a weekday morning - cycling the M1 is safer. Here the kamikazee cyclists (the ultra-thin ones in neon and on speed) whizz past we pootling plebs with such ferocity that one day I will end up in the water... |

Yes, a huge percentage of the cyclists on the towpath do need to be reminded that it's a towpath, not the f***ing Tour de France. I regularly use it to walk home from work, and notions like "pedestrians have right of way" and "use cation when cycling through tunnels" seem to carry little weight with the vast majority of two-wheeled traffic. |
