In case Molly is reading... I would be delighted to take up her offer and could provide informed feedback. I'm a bit out of London, but could pick up the chef from the station...

How does Friday 26th sound Molly? Lunch around 1pm? Thanks.
dude, i can't believe your denying me the opportunity of actually dining at yours for once instead of always dispatching me off down the road to Bow Roundabout McDonalds, you selfish so-and-so.
Also, this 'validation' is a bit creepy. You have someone's job in the palm of your hand. Moan about the scallops and he/she is toast (sic).

That said, I do suspect there's no validation process at all. They just want the publicity.
Out of the dozen visitors to DG Towers, just one, Geoff, has identified himself so far.

Culinary comments from the other eleven are eagerly awaited.
Comments identifying the company are
a) astute
b) being deleted
because this is not an advert.
I could think of nothing worse than having a stranger using my kitchen to cook in,although I wouldn't mind someone else doing the washing up! ( I don't use a machine-I have a bowl!) 😉
Even when incapacitated I hate the idea of 'im indoors being let loose with a tin opener. 😳😳
You also recently posted an actual photo of an actual ice cream, which could have caught the attention of someone just scrolling through.
I'll skip the dining experience but the offer of washing up and tidying my kitchen is very appealing. As there would be no expense on buying food, maybe you could send someone along for a week, Molly?
While I am not personally interested (Hong Kong is a bit far away and the kitchen in concern is absolutely for private use only), I must say this is by far the most positive response of DG to any remote attempt of advertising (yeah, satirical no less, but not as much on malice). I am sure some will take this seriously and reach out to Molly in their own ways.

In that case, I think Molly has succeeded what many previous advertisers hadn't.
I notice a well-known supermarket chain has recently started a new brand called Ms Molly's, although it's more about chocolate chip cake bars and raspberry mini rolls.
I'm sure Molly is a very nice person, but ever since reading the Rivers of London series, when mentioned in conjunction with food, visions of a scary vampire-like Molly floating around with a tray of aperitifs somehow loses its appeal!
Dear Molly, I'm surprised that you haven't emailed me yet to confirm 26th. You do have chefs in my area too, I've checked. Look forward to hearing from you...
It's the term "V... D..." that does it. Pop that into Google and the company is the top result, complete with the lovely Molly. Remove this term from the text and you remove the chance of accidental advertisement.

I never comment but always read your posts. Thank you.
Cor! From the looks of her her photo, Molly can come round for some validation in my kitchen any time.
I for one hope people do keep sending you similar emails, they always end up being hilarious
If only Molly knew how much entertainment she had provided.

Should we tell her?
