You mentioned a closed cinema in King Street.
This was the Cineworld originally the Regal.
I went in 1973 before they made it a multiplex when it was the ABC.
I remember big galleons either side of the screen.
It had a Compton 2Manual/5Rank theatre organ, which I think went to the Museum of Mechanical Music in Rugby.
The entrance hall of Hammersmith Town Hall was (I think) used as a location in The Death of Stalin.
I worked at Hammersmith Town Hall for fifteen years until the start of this one. Fond memories, mostly.

It was used frequently for filming - 'New Tricks' and 'Prime Suspect' being two examples. Dennis Waterman and Amanda Redman were often seen wandering along the first floor corridors.
