If DG really broke his travel curfew and went to Cleethorpes, that is more inspiring to me than the Government's "eat out to help out" scheme. Planning my trip to somewhere otherwise bereft of tourists now!
I like to think that DG's travel box has retained its same width, but is now rather longer! Enjoy the change of scene!
Brilliant!
Excellent DG, Cleethorpes is some journey for a 'day out'. I hope you enjoyed the experience as much as I enjoyed reading about your trip. 😀
Unless DG chartered a helicopter, his quarantine box could have extended as far west as Doncaster.

Curious to see now whether tomorrow's post will be from Tunstall, or if that doesn't count because the Humber is in the way.
Very surprised (and delighted) to see this post after yesterday's comment about ending the journey there.
Yipee. Whether or not the journey is a recent one, it is a nice change to read about somewhere remoter.

Sad to see that Pleasureland has succumbed. Cleethorpes is a quintessential small English seaside resort, full of fish and chip cafes and other cliches. I have fond memories of enjoying it with two godsons way back in the noughties.
A taproom in Cleethorpes. I'm listening.
