Actually managed these three squares on a long walk in the 2020. My recollection was of landowners being very keen to make sure you did not trespass, while at the same time being sufficiently polite as to tell you the correct route. That was particularly the case on the approach to Layham’s Farm, which was selling teas and coffees in 2020.
The ewe has found herself a nice shady spot. She looks like a Herdwick to me, but I'm happy to be corrected by the more knowledgeable.

I lived in Coney Hall and then Keston in my youth and these posts have brought back many happy memories of wandering down the back lanes and going on the chalk banks looking for fossils.
I have been reading your latest posts on unvisited London and thinking what lovely countryside, must have a look. Then when you mentioned Saltbox Hill, I realised I had been there, thanks to a walk organised by the London Wildlife Trust. It was last year and the area was covered with wildflowers and there were lots of butterflies. A beautiful spot!
