Standby for further closure to replace the defective gas cover in lane 1 of SW corner, that could have been replaced during the 6 month disruption without any further inconvenience.
I cycled through yesterday and did think it was looking quite finished - but also going from east to west could barely tell what had changed from before.

I did see The Men Who Change Bus Stops putting a new point letter on the top of stop L though, so that was something.
You say that the bridge needs expansion joints because it goes over a river. That's a new one on me, I'm curious to know more...

Further clearing up at the roundabout today. Pretty much all that's left are barriers across the contraflow lane and a bloke fiddling with the traffic light control junction box.
Every single conclusion made about HS2 up until now about suboptimal works' phasing seems to unfortunately apply to projects of any size in this country... including this one.
I ventured East today for the first time in many years (apart from going to see Dexys at Rough Trade). I travelled to an industrial estate in Grays and spent a brief time on the A13. I did consider extending my journey to visit the Bow roadworks as I feel I've come to know them intimately, but alas, time was against me.
Please no more posts about Bow Roundabout, we are all fed up with it and now it is finished you can report on more interesting subjects as you now have a Freedom Pass !
