Well at least you saw an event. Which is more than I managed.I went to Embankment gardens for a 2pm band Concert, sat there until 2.20pm only to be told it was cancelled. Walked to Waterloo hoping to have time to get Jubilee line to Canary Wharf for the naval Ship, but got too late for that, I went to Richmond Hill hoping for a nice sunset and it clouded over!
It is good that London still has some degree of tolerance and fairness. "Gay Pride" in Trafalgar square one week, and no doubt in the same square coming soon an end of Ramadan religious event, quite a contrast. |
