Vaguely reminiscent of Charles and Ray Eames’ short film Powers of Ten.
I can't help but think this is an AI-written piece. The "voice" is off.
Since when has Roger Allam been moonlighting as a beefeater? Is it a new endeavour for him?
A great read until the very end, however through Hubble, and other recent developments, it us now that there are at least 2 billion galaxies, even as many as 2 trillion?! Perhaps this should be Level -1, but most certainly mind boggling.
Nos. 7 to 10 were completely unknown to me, loved the robin, but couldn't find the wren.
300 sextillion stars in the observable.
I feel a visit to Richmond Park in the near future is on the cards!
I have to google Edward Goldsmith.

I only visited the Isabella Plantation a few weeks ago for the first time, having managed to miss it on my previous visits to Richmond Park.
Another excellent post.

Having recently taken up reading your blog and becoming enthralled, I decided to start from the beginning. After 60 posts I did some maths. At a minute per post, it would take approximately 122 hours, or 5+ days, without sleeping. With two mins per post for the second half (as posts got longer) that increases to 8 days.

I’m up for the challenge, but is there a brief summary of the last 20 years, in case I don’t make it through…?

I like the excellent view of Manhattan Lofts at Stratford International from King Henry's Mound.
Level 0 needs to be read in the style of Eric Idle ala The Galaxy Song.
King Henry's Mound is reputedly the place where King Henry VIII waited on the day of Anne Boleyn's execution to hear the cannon fired from the Tower of London to tell him the deed was done. If you believe that you will also know that his next act was to start looking for his third wife
A new endeavour for Roger Allam? Nice one, Waterhouse! And I burst out laughing when I read Kylie Minogue in Level 1.
