Hahaha, you had me going there for a bit... πŸ˜€ I'm looking forward to travelling there though.
Looking at the first day videos, once the flats are built, the artistic early morning sunshine through the windows images will no longer be available.

This is really very good. We might even go and visit! Thank you.
Visited yesterday morning and had the pleasure of having Geoff Marshall the transport Youtuber on board the 11:18 from Barking Riverside. I know this because the driver made an announcement to that effect prior to departure.
Reminds me of:

With a ladder and some glasses
I could see to 'ackney Marshes
If it wasn't for the 'ouses in between.
A brilliant piece of writing.
As fine a travel writer as England has produced- Mark Twain.
My compliments to a British satirist of considerable significance- Johnathon Swift
Another brilliant piece from this eclectic commentator on all things reachable by public transport- the Guardian
An entertaining start to any day, and a welcome antidote to all the products of the PR industry-Simon Waters, blogger
Well what a great way to caricature a brand new station.
If you ever felt the need to sell your soul to the devils of publicity and PR... there'd be a position awaiting you...
You'll pardon me, I hope, if I don't immediately flock to the new viewing platform...
You whet my interest, i'm going there Saturday (oh, it's closed on Saturday).
Excellent, and so very nearly perfect.
The station design is reminiscent of many stations on the largely excellent Dutch railways system.
There was a time when the earliest incarnation of the DLR could have been viewed as nothing more than a scenic ride through an industrial wasteland. It's a little different now.
If you’re lucky your visit may coincide with one of the regular β€œ360 degree viewing opportunities”
- aka β€œsignal failure at Walthamstow Queens Road” - where the staff arrange to have both platforms clear.
Indeed, a worthy companion to the Dangleway.
I shall do both to make the most of a full day out!
What AltPov said (10:40)
One does wonder whether the money could have been better spent elsewhere - say a location where people actually live or work. But they probably said that about the Metropolitan Line.
You missed you calling as a informational pamphlet writer. A snarky one, but quite good.
Indeed a wonderful parody of a travelogue and quite inspirational! I was planning a Barking Riverside rail+bus excursion anyway, thwarted only by the adverse weather, and will now plan to spend a little more time on the platforms.

Just to note that the entire DLR continues to be a terrific and cost-effective way to view Docklands & environs with a spectacular rollercoaster dive into Hades (Bank), particularly if you get a front seat.

And Blackfriars Thameslink station has some of the best views over the Thames and whatever ceremonials are happening on it. All for the price of a zone 1+2 ticket. Or free (for those of us of a certain age).
Adding to my bucket list!
Look ideal location for isolation in the next pandemic. :-)
If, by any chance, Barking Riverside fails to top the list of least used LO station next year, you are probably the person to thank to.
