I've spoken to many over-70s recently who are of the opinion that we'll just have to live with covid now and have therefore all but abandoned mask wearing and social distancing.
Yes, they are all vaccinated and boosted, but they seem to have forgotten they can still catch it and/or pass it on to someone who, vaccinated or not, might still be at greater risk of complications etc.
