This.
Yep. Tut tut.
Short comments only? I liked Yesterday better.
Are you checking to see if we were taking in yesterdays post?
Longer=better. Tks.
This is the equivalent of the old habit of Radio 4, of the 9.00am 45 minute live broadcast becoming an edited highlights 30 minute programme at 9.30pm.
Comprehension - is a wonderful thing...
Unfortunately, whether facts or pure speculation, longer is more interesting.
Except when TV news broadcasters speculate for days on end about the same topic, that is!
Either today's post was planned in advance, or there was a 'clear the air' meeting I failed to attend.

Hang on, yesterday was Friday, or almost weekend.
Can beat the ancient Underground map... South Woodford station still has a 'local' bus map for 2001 showing on the 'eastbound' exit side.
So yesterday I wrote 1600 words and included four stories, at least one of which was properly newsworthy (the persistent closure of Lancaster Gate station). But none of the stories attracted more than four comments, quite likely because I diluted the impact by a) bundling up four stories together b) being a bit sarky.

Meanwhile on Twitter I posted just one photo along with "This tube map at White City bus station hasn't been replaced since 2009." and that got 17000 views, 164 likes and nine responses.

So best keep it simple.

(but, as today's post proves, not too simple)
To be fair, Twitter has a much larger audience and it's very easy for tweets to be shared. I think what you're doing currently is a good balance; shorter, to-the point tweets keep the attention-span of social media sites, whereas blog viewers generally appreciate information, detail, and description.
It wasn't the bundling nor sarky tone that stopped me from commenting yesterday. I simply had nothing to say; unusual I know, but it happens.
Twitter = effective clickbait perhaps.
Lancaster Gate is perhaps a victim of crossrail. It used to be the best way to get to Paddington from the East but no longer is.
