(and all true this time)

19) We don't talk about "the incident"
19. I think we should. 1.27m is a lot of money.
18) Current business cases for integration of concession passes to Apple Pay (etc.) seem to be based on the presumption that they will use "Oyster" NFC technology or similar proprietary.

Citymapper Pass demonstrated a very viable Apple Pay compatible alternative based on contactless payment card tech (white labelled and hobbled for transit use only). This would require TfL to pay a (revenue) fee to a 3rd party for card issuance & ongoing transaction processing.

It seems this option has not yet been considered in their business case evaluation.
10. was that the same person?
5 - is it TfL's bus fleet, or buses used on routes operated under contract to TfL (excluding the 998 LTs).
9 - Traffic evaporation at its finest! Would be a mistake to reopen the bridge to anything other than buses.

18 - This would be difficult. Any other city which allows both Contactless (including via Apple Pay) along with their own transit card (including via Apple Pay) has separate readers for obvious reasons. If it were the same readers, you'd probably be getting a lot of people tapping with the wrong virtual card.
10. And how do I find their YouTube channel?

18. You already have to choose which virtual card you want to use for transit (either just before touching, or as a default in advance), so not an issue.
Link 10 is the same as link 9

25) That's a surprisingly low capacity (to me at least); I'd assumed about twice that. Could be queues if the poor stop locations and cumbersome nature of the whole Cycle Shuttle bus thing don't achieve TfL's probable aim of showing there is no demand.
9) Of course speed on the bridge isn't the same as speed on the approach roads. It's those that have suffered in the case of Putney.
No, thank you dg. Now I know there's over a million people who travel from "Not Applicable" to "London Bridge NR".
10) I suspect that was DG!
If you’ve commented on number 10, I draw your attention to the word ‘or’.
"As far as TfL are aware . . ." they haven't spent hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of pounds!*?!!

Who holds their purse-strings?
18 - San Francisco already use their Clipper card and contactless concurrently using the same single reader. It manages somehow.
11) I wonder how much is during the night tube hours? The high levels on the Northern Line being Camden Town related I imagine.
"Soiled saloon" has now entered my vocabulary.
A reminder that these are all clickable, so you can answer your own questions.
18) Commenters, Apple Pay works fine on TfL readers. This is a specific case of being able to add an Oyster card into the Apple Wallet, rather than using an existing debit/credit card which already works. I suspect very few people would have their Oyster as a default payment method, and that's something that needs to be solved if it's to be convenient.
19) A rather unfortunate incident with the death of 74 year old Grace Mecaley. The previous zebra crossing led to multiple close calls, but I can't see how they spent north of a million installing one pedestrian crossing!
18) You can set up a specific card for "Express Transit" which comes up when you touch the phone to a TfL validator. This can be different from the default payment card that comes up when you double click the side button.
3 - unfortunately the enamel signs at Waterloo still happily say open Monday to Saturday. which is corrected by a paper noticeboard alongside
It strikes me that many of the ‘genuine’ TfL FOI enquiries are as ludicrously arcane as the spoof ones, which suggests that whole exercise of replying to them must be a tremendous waste of time and effort.
20. I just know that the correspondent isn't at all concerned about safety, and has probably complained about "health and safety gone mad" a gazillion times; they're just a bitter old bigot
