Some popular entertainments are free. Just don't get caught like these people.
You're single, right?
I bet the PR team can't wait to puff the first Dangleway baby.
What a cheap way to join the mile high club.
A glass of champagne? on the Dangleway?

But according to the conditions of carriage:

4.5. For safety reasons, on the Emirates Air Line and in our terminals you must not:

  • on the Emirates Air Line and in our terminals, you must not consume alcohol or be in
possession of an open container of alcohol.

If the Gondala's rockin', don't bother knockin'!!!

We've now had politics, religion and sex, in that order. What other February barbie-stoppers are lined up for us?

Off to check out https://twitter.com/dangleway to see Dangleway's poor loneley perspective, now.
I knew this post was coming as soon as I saw the article on TfL's website...
Even better than DG's budget option: go on your own, then it only costs half as much, you get twice as much bubbly/chocolate and you don't have to talk to anyone.
I assume they will now introduce airport style security searches. If they don't also introduce cabin crew you might get away with champagne in 10ml bottles.
Surely all the cabins have cctv for safety reasons. Money to be made marketing the videos afterwards.
Do they do anything on their birthday, because it opened in mine so I could have birthday treat on the Dangleway!
The Pods on the London Eye are air conditioned, so comfortable temperature inside. I am not so sure about the Cable cars if they have heating, might be chilly in them at the weekend as an artic blast is forecast.
I'd love to know the demographic of those who take up this 'offer' over the coming weekend.

I've tried.. but I simply cannot think of anything less romantic than warm fizz and cheap chocs consumed in a cable car over an utterly non-picturesque part of London. And in the dark. Or have I missed some part of the attraction..?
As if being on ones own on Christmas Day, New Year's Eve wasn't bad enough now get reminded that will be spending Valentine's Day alone (again) too...and people wonder why I grumpy! Or is it that because I'm grumpy I'm always on my own?? mmm...well at least my humour not faded (yet :)
So...

Will it be open to non-valentinees during these times? Surely an essential and important transport link couldn't be closed all evening?
^ "essential and important transport link" haha of course you jest...it'll be the same if the "garden bridge" gets built...commom folk are allowed to use it until it needed for a "do" for "important" people
I really wanted to go last year, but we did the crazy golf instead and it would have been dark by the time we finished. So I made sure I booked tickets to go this sunday...which is also Chinese New Year London celebrations. I've never been on the cable car.
E - yes, in the olden days TfL would regularly point out that the dangleway was a vital transportation link and blah blah blah.

They seem to have shut up and succumbed to it being the tourist attraction it always was now.
I must be a comedian at heart because in nearly every sentence you wrote about this, I saw a great opportunity for a joke. Rich material here.
