27: Perhaps the green headlights are to help with editing. Either way, looking forward to finding out what it was for
2: I still remember your post on that bus route seven years ago so I immediately get what you had travelled on without clicking the photo. Still it's good to see a newer bus running on it.
30: Testing out the 'Headboard'
9 - Sadly the documentary is no longer available on BBC Sounds - and the description makes it sound really interesting…
16. If blogged on the day, you would have demonstrated amazing foresight!
13 one of the great delights of our new life up North is living in a Dark Skies area.

15 another great delight is watching the RAF low flying training over / in the valley out back of the house ... and the frequent fly pass of an Osprey (of the mechanical variety).
1. If a success I'd imagine it will become a permanent fixture - unless something is scheduled to replace it.

17. Cool! Congrats.

27. I think they were filming 'The Flash'.
1: When Saldlers Wells open their new theatre there will for a short time be two theatres in the Olympic park area.

9: Perhaps they score in threes as the last question is called "three in ten". Occasionally I think the question master will give a mark of less than three if a person gets an answer almost correct.
7. This echoes an exchange I had with a dog owner in my local park at 7am one day last week. When I raised objection to his dog jumping at me, he accused me of saying something to him (yes, "your dog needs to be on a lead") and then tried to start a fight with me. His dog, his fault, yet somehow I was the problem? Not the start to the day I wanted...
5. This sounded like a maths problem - I was half expecting "How much does it cost?" at the end!
2. Last sentence is crafty paranomasia.

12. I wonder how many people find that decaf tea tastes different. To me it is indistinguishable, unless I see the packet that the teabag came out of.
14. DG,your description of going through your mother's CDs-that has brought a large lump to my throat. đŸ˜”
27. The weekend before,19th/20th, filming by Warner Brothers was taking place at St Paul's Cathedral for a new Batman film. Batman was spotted climbing the walls of the Cathedral. Could it be filming Batman at the Royal Exchange?
17. Does this qualify you as a major influencer?
12. I use Yorkshire de-caf. If yiu want to cut back on caffeine then they're the ones to use. If you don't, carry on!

!4. It's this sort of event that really makes it all hit hone. My sympathies to you all.
23. I was there 3 days after you, quite a bizarre place Crews Hill. It's hard to believe you're still in London.
7 - Absolutely this. Also irritating is the often bellowed 'HE/SHE WON'T HURT YOU!' with a condescending grin. Only, someone said that to me before and it actually did hurt me.
27: I was told by a guy in a hiviz that it was [something] from the Marvel universe, but I don't know anything about that so can't be more specific.
11 / 14 - The references to your mum really touched me. I think we both lost our mums in the same year. While I have few of my mum's belongings left it always amazes me how even the smallest thing can stir memories. Wishing you well.
14. Packing up the belongings of a deceased loved one is never an easy task.
17 Wow, brilliant
Tue 22: - the Moomin up a ladder is an illustration from 'Moominpappa At Sea' (a great book). In the book he is gazing at the lighthouse lamp in sad frustration as it doesn't work for him. I like that this installation in Walthamstow has given him the light.
12. Yorkshire decaf is the closest to the real thing.

19. Most of the London City planes are now also flying out of Southampton (another airport with a short runway).
7 - Also heard "Oh he's just friendly" just before the dog knocked my elderly mother over. Responsible dog owners become rarer every year.
30 - "I now know what they're doing to cause it.." What a tease you are. You won't confirm, so I feel free to speculate.. I'll venture a crystal meth laboratory, a garment workshop, or a madrasa. Or maybe just an old fashioned traditional knocking shop!
2. Had my first tube ride in 10 months yesterday. Even in rush hour it was much more pleasant than the buses I've been getting recently.

13. If I'm lucky I can just about see the moon & some stars over the neighbours houses from the back bedroom. Unfortunately, a succession of offspring keep laying claim to it each time the incumbent sibling vacates!

14. Poignant.

21. You may need a driver's licence to hire an e-scooter but it seems there is no such restriction on purchasing them for younger riders, after seeing 2 young teens haring in and out of the traffic on their way home from school yesterday.

24. Been trying to get hold of someone to do do a repair for 10 months now. Most won't even respond, the rest say they've a long waiting list!

26. The death of favourite walking shoes has to be one of the worst clothing-related traumas!
25. Mention of the Barking Tornado somehow put me in mind of the out-of-control Dalmation (7)
19. I will be on the inside looking out next week.
7. "It's OK, he doesn't bite!" = "I haven't seen him bite anyone, yet."
28: I think appearances of the Lower Loxley contingent will be bumped up considerably by this week's intense focus on events there. And strange how ominipresent Jill seems, even when not speaking.
2) I haven't been to London since the 15th February last year which makes this the longest time I have ever gone without going to the city of my birth. I'm hoping to make a visit in a couple of months time though, circumstances permitting.

16) That day I went for a hot 9.5 mile walk across Salisbury Plain. It was hard to appreciate the sun under those circumstances but I might have appreciated it a bit more if I'd known it was the last we'd see of it for a while.

22) I've been meaning to go to Walthamstow Wetlands for some time now but I never get the opportunity it seems. I was hoping to go there on my last visit to London (see above) but it was closed that day due to high winds.
17. Not long now before "dangleway" gets into their main dictionary. And then it can be used as a conundrum on Countdown (GALYAWNED perhaps? Or NEWGAYLAD...)
30 = Morris dancers obviously
25. As the Barking Bard once sang, "You Woke Up My Neighbourhood"
22. I was at Walthamstow Wetlands yesterday. Be warned - quite a few of the paths are currently closed, so as not to disturb the wildlife. The Egyptian goslings are cute though.
26 - I'd definitely recommend at least trying some trainer boots or shoes specifically designed for walking. They really can make a difference.
Days which have not inspired comment:
3 4 6 8 10 18 20 29

(but the vast majority have, cheers!)

4 - I'm a bit late, but just to knock 4 off your list, I am totally in agreement on this, and it also includes any vehicle which stops after I've already made it clear I'm waiting for them, thereby making me feel I have to hurry to cross in front.
27. We were also walking around the City that day - they're actually filming The Peripheral.

Revealed by the production company's details seen in a support car window.
30 - my sympathy. We've got a 20 something guy who moved in upstairs a year or so ago. Likes to party. Gaslights us when we point out that he's woken us up again in the middle of the night despite wearing earplugs. Strain is starting to affect us.
