This is timely. I have an Olympic Park day pass tomorrow. Goalball? 5 or 7 a side football?

Excel day pass on Tuesday was good value - GB in boccia bronze medal matches, sole GB participant in individual foil wheelchair fencing, session of powerlifting with world record attempt and medal ceremony (no GB participant) and GB women in sitting volleyball (losing again unfortunately). There seemed to be a significant effort to keep holders of day passes and holders of session tickets apart. Not sure why, as most of the arenas had plenty of space and minimal queues.
I have to agree, the Wheelchair Rugby was excellent, was the real highlight of the paralympics for me so far.

My one annoyance yesterday was admission - I had an actual session ticket as opposed to a Day Pass one, which should have got me entry to the lower tier of seats. We arrived 15 mins beforehand and was told at the gate that they'd let day pass people in and there were no seats there. We said we'd try anyway, and were told again by the stewards at the bottom of the stairs that there was no point even trying and we'd be lucky even to get singles. I insisted anyway, got in and found about a third of the lower seats were still free, and ended up with the fantastic seats I'd hoped for.

I really don't get why the gamesmakers were being told by management to turn ticket holders away?
Was the Daily Mail photographer trying to get photos of the ladies' hideously flabby upper arms?
@Andrew - Goalball is worth seeing for a game or too if you don't mind the Centre Court-like atmosphere, given that the game needs to be played in silence. The games are short (over in under an hour) so you should be able to see men's and women's matches in one session.

If you prefer a more vocal atmosphere (and being outside in the sun!), then the football it is... I really liked my introduction to goalball, seeing a sight-impaired person defend a goal the width of the pitch from a penalty just through the sound of the ball jangling was amazing!
