And now we have another change in writing style from DG.

Short and snappy sentences. Caused by a lack of commas.

There is obviously a long term experiment going on here. But what it is, I couldn't say.
Curious.
Hmm....simple English?
What's happened? Thought I was reading a Janet and John book ;)
Well done DG, such a wonderfully descriptive report of your visit to the London Film Museum. Don't forget that your biology homework is due in on Friday. No, it's no good asking Steven why President Morsi was ousted from power in Egypt. Now pay attention DG while I'm talking to you ...
Will there be a full report of the results of this ongoing experiment, in due course?
Surely the change of style was deliberate this time. I was thinking more Peter and Jane (and Pat) than Janet and John but that is probably a generational thing. These days, it is Biff, Chip and Kipper (and Floppy).
Already been there! I found it by chance when I visited London in April this year. A nice place to sit down and rest my legs!

The best London film ever? My choice is Hitchcock's 'Frenzy'!
this is presumably in the space that used to be the Theatre Museum, which had an unimpressive entrance but seemed to be enormous inside. I'm glad you told us it's closed, I saw an advert for it recently and was thinking of going this weekend. now I'll postpone that till after the 19th.
I went to Margate at the weekend and in the Swiss section of the Turner Gallery there were a series of panels explaining the part of the Swiss in the early development of clocks and watches and their evolution into the current day Swatch. Intentionally - or otherwise - the style of writing would have looked perfectly at home on an O Level History exam paper. It reminded me of school and how it took a certain effort to "write nicely."
There is, however, another museum, south of the river, in Kennington:-http://www.cinemamuseum.org.uk/topics/events/
At least some of the punctuation missing from this post has migrated to the start of the last link, breaking it.
Spot goes to the LFM.
I don't think this is an experiment. The writing style relates to the nature of the films in the museum. Short snipets but get the underlying message across to the viewer. Or at least that's how I'm reading into it..
This review is written in short sentences. Short sentences are easier to understand. Some people find short sentences childish. I find short sentences quite refreshing.

Some writers always use the same style. I prefer writers to change their style sometimes. I find that a change of style keeps me awake.
There's a third museum along similar lines:

'Curious... Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' - comes to mind, as hinted yesterday.
Definitely Curious Incident...!
Please Sir... Davies is copying :(
I think there's another Cinema Museum in Elephant & Castle. It's a private museum though...
Eager to see Lights camera London and the birth of the film segment.
