I shouldn't get your hopes up that someone had given you a magic date. It was nothing special for your blog in fact. This unsubstantiated date originated at least a whole week earlier on a rail forum and its been oft quoted since.

News item today about Gaudi's church in Barcelona. Started in 1882, latest target date is 2022, but Covid will probably delay it further. Don't think it's anything to do with software.

The most "tin foil hat" I've heard on this is the idea that they're waiting for HM The Queen to pass, so they can launch this named in her honour, and because she's too old & infirm to attend an opening ceremony.
Actually, no - the *most* tin foil hat is that she's already passed, but left instructions to cover up her death until the current Prime Minister has left office, so he won't be representing the nation at her funeral ("I don't want that scruffy [redacted] at my funeral"). Perhaps they're now waiting for that point, so they can then launch service in her honour. I did say it was Tin Foil Hat, yes? |

Penny you could be right. It's now a race between the spread of Omicron, Christmas/New Year happening and Boris being kick out by his own party. I think the Queen will be safe for a while.
