Pause for thought . . . .
We hear a lot about how the older generation was so "lucky," being able to afford a house, about the older generation becoming such a burden on the current generation, about their good pensions, and how they have had it so good.
Could it possibly be that they did things a lot better than the present lot? They seem to have got their work ethics right and to have become relatively prosperous, despite the bad start most of them had after WW II.
