Well done on the comments yesterday! That has to be one of the highest totals on your blog, potentially.

1. Yeah, Twitter/X isn't really the platform it once was. I've stopped using it for a while now, so I can't really comment on what it's like currently. I am a bit surprised LinkedIn is there, though, since it's far from the first platform you'd think of, and also because it just seems to be a place to boast about your achievements - there's not as much socialising.

Curious maybe that Youtube's not there, I remember it being omnipresent on development boards too.

4. I've been delighted by the blooming of daffodils across London. I've never really given them much thought until this year, however it's wonderful to see a crowd of them in almost every green space!
The selection of typefaces suggests the headlines are from a variety of newspapers - I think the Standard used their custom handwriting font until the end.

Newspaper billboards kind of died out without anyone noticing, didn't they? I don't remember when I last saw one.
The run through of random stuff is interesting as can capture a moment in time like the closing of the dry cleaners.

Perhaps not having X on the hoarding is social signaling, but shouldn't you list Bluesky, RedNote or Threads instead. I would just list the most popular social media sites regardless of perceived political affiliation.

The variable amount of postings by platform suggests either they have an experienced social media team that is optimising the posts for the platform, or it's being done "side of desk" by a single unfortunate who hasn't got/worked out an automation to post more uniformly. I suspect more the latter
I'm leaving a comment from Bhutan, is that the most obscure location you've had a comment from?
Spent some time in Sussex at the beginning of last week. The daffodils are out in full force. The entries/exits to many villages have obviously been lovingly planted but it's the odd outcrop of random wild daffs in the glades on the verges that please my eyes the most. The different varieties!
Absolutely lovely.
I hope you're not hinting that The Gentle Author recycles his content.
Newspaper billboards are still around in Norfolk including here in Great Yarmouth. Used by the EDP (Eastern Daily Press) group.
