note, by contrast, the following exchange from tfl bus alerts:

Even with four trains an hour - the minimum for a 'turn up and go metro service, "minor delays" is meaningless.

Although frankly it's pretty meaningless for the tube as well.
Get an app, DG. You know it makes sense.
I use an app as I've walking to my SouthEastern station - do I go easy, because the train's late, or break into a run because if I don't catch the imminent train the following one's cancelled? Or do I get the handy 108 bus to North Greenwich tube?
And on the way home, is it better to head to Charing Cross or Cannon Street - I'm midway between the two?
It is clear from further down the article that DG already has such apps, or is at least well aware of them. The article was about certain people (possibly quite numerous) who, for their own good reasons, were hitherto relying on getting exactly the information they required from Twitter. Which worked last week and does not work this week. I think that is worth noting.
Anyone who relies on Twitter for anything important gets what they deserve.
Indeed. Clay tablets are where it's at. This internet stuff will never catch on.

But anyway, I love Greater Anglia politely sticking the boot in in that latter exchange.
Piccadilly Line Blue? And I thought it was a tribute to the former operator of the line.
Who you gonna call?

Well, obviously, Ghostbusters. It sounds like they couldn't do any worse than TfL.
