Damn. You well and truly fooled me. Well played, DG.

This made tea come out of my nose, and I wasn't even drinking tea.

I was just writing my own 1st of April post, and I still fell for it and wanted to download the map. Well done!

I still preferred Kittens Galore.

You old blue dagger you.

It certainly deals as though there are hundreds of the damn things. Changing names on the Underground map, what a tired old cliche that is.

Wonder if Simon Patterson ever saw this. It was exhibited several years before his 'piece.

Great Bear - Great Brain. Hmmmmm

What about http://www.animalsontheunderground.com/the_animals.html ? Graphic rather than verbal but still our favourite.

Nice post. However I would still love the hyper linked version of the map! And I bet this post get clicked into for months to come...

I'm so proud of myself. I managed to read all through this post without clicking on ANY of the links...

I was disappointed that the famous musicians map hasn't got links to soundtracks of the artists featured

I wasn't so much as fooled (or not fooled) as flummoxed. I didn't (and still don't) get it! Brilliant as though I am sure it is. Now, off to find those kittens!

It was only when I got to "can be downloaded free of charge today from the TfL website" that I twigged. A bit of a giveaway given the history of this.

I am feeling rather pleased at the moment, as I immediately worked out that this is a joke. Come on, since when does TfL give things away for free?

Oh was this an April Fool? I just thought you were having a dig at TfL, which is par for the course - isn't it? :-)

I really want that tea towel! Darn.

Sadly, I believed it. Then after about 1 min looking on the TfL website it twigged.

Sudden thought:

How many 'mach up' maps ARE there? the temptation to create this for real (would need 270 maps) is suddenly overwhelming...

LOL!! You had me going until the "can be downloaded free of charge today" bit! I was even disappointed when first I started reading that you hadn't done an April Fool's post this time!

Ha ha ha! Well, given it was a lovely day, I didn't check your blog until after dark. Completely forgot - and of course it was after 12 noon. What a Pacific Regal Blue Tang I am!

Brilliant - I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Spent 10 mins on TfL site trying to find it. Also tried to hear sound effects at Paddington Basin.

Doh - I'm fick

I'd really rather not live at Kittens, although being one stop down from Every Station is named Neasden is quite cool. Someone has to do the Every Station is named Neasden map, if they haven't already.

If only there really was a kitten one *sigh*

I still don't quite understand what it was all supposed to be about, but anything with kittens in gets my vote.

I've been working on a new tube map of pubs - replacing each tube station with the name of the best nearby pub - please come and contribute at http://blog.tomsteel.co.uk/tube-pub-map/

Thanks!

Tom

Ouch! April 7th and I still fell for it, hook, line and sinker. Well done!
